Our Luxembourg fund Carmignac Portfolio now has a sixth sub-fund: Carmignac Market Neutral. Formerly part of Carmignac Alternative Investments, absorbed on 12 March 2009 by Carmignac Portfolio, this international equity fund, which conforms to the European UCITS Directive, is now open to European investors.
With an absolute performance investment objective, Carmignac Market Neutral targets capital growth whatever the market conditions, offering low volatility and minimal correlation to the equity markets. In a broad investment universe with no geographical constraints, it benefits from our global investment themes and hedge management backed by our expertise in alternative management and relative value strategies. Its net exposure to the equity markets is always zero.
