At the beginning of 2019, we announced that three of our funds – namely Carmignac Portfolio Grande Europe, Carmignac Emergents and Carmignac Portfolio Emerging Patrimoine – had been awarded the French "Socially Responsible Investment" label.
Today, we are pleased to inform you that two additional funds have received this label, and five funds have been granted the Belgian "Towards Sustainability" label:
These accreditations officially validate the Funds’ commitment to sustainable investment and render them more visible to savers across Europe. Sandra Crowl, Stewardship Manager, adds: "These labels are an official recognition, in France and Belgium, of our concrete commitment to responsible investment. Obtaining them is of great importance to us".
The French "Socially Responsible Investment (SRI)" label was created in 2016 by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. It is accredited upon a strict audit run by an independent body (AFNOR or Ernst & Young). For more information, please visit www.lelabelisr.fr/en
The Belgian "Towards Sustainability" label was created in 2019 on the initiative of Febelfin, the Belgian Federation of the Financial Sector, and is accredited by the Central Labelling Agency, an independent body. For more information, please visit www.towardssustainability.be
