New name for “Carmignac Portfolio Green Gold”

1. INTRODUCTION

Dear Shareholder,

We would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us. We are honoured to count you among the Shareholders of “Carmignac Portfolio” (the “Fund”) and the investors of its sub-fund “Green Gold” (the “Sub-Fund”).

We would like to hereby inform you that, after due consideration, the Board of Directors has decided to change the name of the Sub-Fund “Green Gold” to “Climate Transition”.

Please note that this communication is addressed for the investors of the Sub-Fund “Green Gold” only. Other Shareholders of the Fund are not impacted. All capitalised terms used but not defined in this document shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Prospectus.

2. NAME CHANGE

The Board of Directors has resolved to rename Carmignac Portfolio Green Gold because its current name was considered ambiguous by some of our investors and business partners.

The change is as follows:

We consider that the new name “Climate transition” better illustrates the reference to the global challenge of climate change mitigation and adaptation. This reflects the Sub-Fund’s objective to invest in industries and product / service providers that contribute to climate change mitigation by providing low carbon solutions or transforming their operations and business models to help usher in a low-carbon economy.

We would like to stress that the new name “Climate Transition” will not affect your investment. This change does not impact the Sub-Fund’s existing investment strategy, the way it is being managed, its investment objective and philosophy, or the Sub-Fund’s risks or fees.

This change will be effective on 25 August 2022.

A new version of the prospectus dated August 2022 has been prepared to reflect this modification.

This prospectus and the amended Key Investor Information Documents of the relevant Sub-fund are available free of charge at the registered office of the Fund and on internet at www.carmignac.com.
